Viva Las Vegas!
OK, first of all: I’m a procrastinator. Second of all: my financial situation, more or less for the past ten years, has been tenuous at best. We both work, but we also own a genuine money pit of a house, and we seem to have a hard time getting ahead.
Still, we’re going to Las Vegas next month! We’ll meet up with some friends, see the new Harry Potter movie, and, okay, probably do a little gambling. We started checking prices a few weeks ago, and they were discouraging at best; it looked like we’d have to take extra time off work so we could take the less expensive flights, and we had no idea where we’d stay.
Then I found Worry-Free Vacations, and suddenly we could plan our $1200 trip for just about $600. You put together a complete package–airfare, hotel, rental car, even show tickets–just like other major travel sites. The only difference is in the dollars you’ll spend.
And Worry-Free Vacations doesn’t just go to Vegas, either–you can plan a trip from OKC to Cancun or Puerto Vallarta through them, too. Ahhh…. maybe next year.

Wow! This is exactly what I was looking for…I also was having trouble finding a cheap trip package to Vegas and I was surprised how expensive they were even in the summer when tourism is low.
If you ever decide to travel to Pittsburgh, let me know. I’m one of the writers of the city blogs there!

This site seems to cater to departures from the midwest, but I can tell you how I found them–I checked out our local airport’s website to see which airlines flew direct to Vegas, and took it from there. I’d never heard of “Champion Air” before–they’re a little charter-plane company, but their website pointed me to this one to book a trip. A roundabout way to find it, but I’m pretty happy with how it worked out!
(And for someone who spent 18 years in Pennsylvania, I have never been to Pittsburgh. Crazy! How does that even happen?)

This is great news! It sounds like they’re booking from the midwest primarily, but maybe
a friend of mine in OK could get to Albuquerque at a good price. I’ll tell her abot it. Mary
